CAMLPR has published an article in Today’s Clinical Lab exploring how registration reforms are addressing Canada’s medical laboratory technologist (MLT) shortage. The article examines the role of regulatory changes in helping to alleviate workforce pressures by streamlining pathways to registration and removing barriers. It showcases CAMLPR’s ongoing efforts through the “Flexible Pathways to Registration for MLTs” project, which aims to make the registration process more accessible and responsive for both internationally educated and non-traditional Canadian-educated applicants.
