Accepted Postings
CAMLPR accepts postings from regulatory authorities, healthcare institutions, academic bodies, and other organizations involved in the regulation, education, or employment of Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) across Canada. Eligible postings include:
- Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) positions in any Canadian province or territory
- Regulatory, academic, or leadership roles connected to the MLT profession
- Professional development opportunities, such as fellowships, continuing education programs, or relevant conferences and workshops
Posting Fee
The cost to post an opportunity on the CAMLPR website is:
- $357.14 CAD plus applicable provincial/territorial tax
An invoice will be issued upon approval of a complete submission.
Posting Duration
Approved job postings will appear on the CAMLPR website for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of publication. If you wish to extend the posting, please contact us before the expiry date to arrange an additional posting period (fees may apply).
Submission Requirements
To submit a posting, please email the following information to executiveoffice@camlpr.org:
- Job title
- Employer/Organization name
- Location (city and province/territory)
- Application deadline (if applicable)
- Job posting file in PDF format
- Link to online application form or clear instructions for how to apply
- Billing contact name and address for invoicing
Submissions that are incomplete or do not meet the posting criteria may be returned for revision.
Employer Responsibilities
Employers posting MLT job opportunities through CAMLPR are reminded of their responsibility to confirm that applicants hold a valid Practising certificate of registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory authority.
For example, in Ontario:
- Employers can verify an applicant’s registration status through the CMLTO Public Register.
- Employers are notified if any MLTs in their facility have been suspended for non-payment of fees.
- MLTs are required to notify the CMLTO of any changes to their home or business address, or changes in employer.
Employers in other provinces are encouraged to consult the appropriate MLT regulatory authority in their jurisdiction to verify an applicant’s registration status and standing.
